Port of Albany undertakes a zero-emission fleet assessment

The Albany Port District Commission (APDC) is evaluating a transition to zero-emission fleet equipment as part of the EPA Ports Initiative. The port’s CEO, Richard Hendrick, says the transition aligns with the port's mission of public stewardship and commitment to environmental improvement.

With emission-free equipment already a significant part of the port’s capital plan, the assessment moves the port closer to its sustainability goals by leveraging the EPA’s Clean Ports program.
