MTE joins Green Marine partners

Electronics specialists with expertise in the design and manufacture of tailormade equipment, Multi-Électronique (MTE) Inc. also manufactures acoustic and oceanographic equipment, including Viking instrumented buoys and Aural and micro-Aural underwater acoustic recorders. Since its inception, MTE has carried out a large number of projects, often guided by oceanographic research initiatives from the Institut des sciences de la mer de Rimouski (Ismer) and the Institut Maurice-Lamontagne Institute. The Aural submarine acoustic recorder, originally intended for the scientific community, is the first mass-produced and internationally marketed product of its kind. Cognizant of the marine community’s mounting interest in measuring anthropogenic underwater noise, MTE has the necessary expertise to support Green Marine participants in achieving their underwater noise performance targets through its technological development capabilities.
