Electric charging stations at the Seaway

As part of its greenhouse gas reduction plan, the St. Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation (SLSMC) inaugurated its first three charging stations for electric vehicles in April 2017. The stations are located respectively at the St. Lambert and Beauharnois locks, and at the maintenance centre in Brossard. They service the SLSMC’s electric Nissan Leaf vehicle that’s stationed at the maintenance centre, as well as electric vehicles privately owned by company employees or by SLSMC visitors.  A great way for the SLSMC to reduce its carbon footprint!
