PARTICIPANTS
Green Marine is first and foremost a voluntary commitment on the part of marine industry businesses for whom improved environmental performance is a key priority. More specifically, the program targets marine industry sectors active on the St. Lawrence and Great Lakes in Canada and the U.S.:

- Ports and terminals
- Stevedoring companies
- St. Lawrence Seaway

Participants that have fulfilled the requirements of the program receive the Green Marine seal of certification, which they may use to show their commitment to continuous environmental improvement.
*Green Marine would like to remind the deadline by which participants must submit their first self-evaluations is April 1, 2009.
